One of the more amusing things I've found is how intertwined "free will" and "safety" are. On one hand, free will is dangerous. It has the potential to be destructive, but it's the birth of creativity. Safety provides one with a sense of security, the ability to move without fear and go about their daily lives without the distress of how someone might treat their neighbour. But in some parts, safety robs you of your free will. Your option to openly resist something you find wrong.

I've been wondering which is more important to many here, both inmates and wardens. Whether it's their right to ultimate choice, or their right to feel protected. I can say that we aren't capable of deciding for everyone else what it is that they value most.

[Warden Filter]

I'm afraid that I'm incapable of performing as warden to Persephone any longer. I've been at a loss for what to do for some time. If anyone can tend to her in the meantime, it would be very much appreciated. If I must explain myself, I will, but I would prefer to do so privately.

What are your plans for this evening?
