[He's been mentioning it to some people in talking him down, so he's torn. He doesn't want to betray his trust any further. But the fact is, if Rassilon keeps under this illusion it'll do more damage than good. He has hurt people.

Between you and I, it's Rassilon. He's under the impression that Omega has assured him he needn't graduate or be redeemed. He'll be whisked away once he has a Gallifrey again.

I'm hoping very sincerely that it's in his head. But then again, that might make it even more difficult to convince him otherwise.

Don't worry, Doctor, I won't betray your trust. I don't think Omega would do that, at least I hope not considering that he's a former inmate himself. Have you spoken with him about this?

I need to be honest, Doctor, it's things like this that concern me in warden and inmate relationships. I know I'd want to do the same thing for Sev if something happened, but that wouldn't have made it right.

Even about the relationships we can't help. My brother is an inmate. I can't be expected to refrain from a relationship with him. But it would be completely inappropriate of me to help him escape. Persephone was made an inmate for following the same impulse for a friend. [Among other things, though.]

Admittedly it's not all worrying. I've quite a bit of fun with them.

What manner of experiments?

Of course not. I've loads of friends who are inmates, but I'd never tell anyone I'd just... break them out of here. It fundamentally undermines everything about the Barge that I believe in.

Especially considering Rassilion is the sort who will lord this over other inmates. 'I can escape and you can't.'

Thank heavens for that. [Because you're a bit of a scary regeneration sometimes. :/]

But this brings us completely around from the main topic: what to do with Omega.

I don't even know if he told him that yet. It seems such a far-fetched thing to say.

He said that he would speak with Omega. It's probably quite important that he does. While I'm unsure of the consequences, I know that he did harbour Rassilon from his last warden after he'd attacked someone.

Though frankly, I don't see how we can find out if he said it or not without actually asking him.

I do know that Omega harboured Rassilon from his last warden while he was injured. And that the idea is so fixed in Rassilon's head, even if Omega didn't say it he'll have to be the one to tell him otherwise.

Well, I told his warden. And what happened with him and the last warden. So hopefully he can get the matter cleared up.

They're in a relationship. [AUUUUGH he doesn't like this at all, Doctor.] What's he expecting, one day Omega will tell them they're going? How does he think Omega will get him out?

I don't know. This is what I do. [And he plays this bit of conversation, just a wee bit, where he insists that Omega will be getting him out.]

My own brother is here, a relationship forged by blood and not by choice, and I've made no promises to him of that nature.

I don't think he's lying. The more likely answer is deluded, if that's the case. He's convinced himself of something more dramatic.
