I know. He's told me. And consider yourself, because the man somehow found the capacity to put the entire universe at risk in an unquestionable gesture of post traumatic madness. ...But for some inexplicable reason I still find myself concerned for the man. I don't believe I could explain it.

[Sigh.]

I noted a closeness that he had with another warden. His former closest friend, Omega. The man is currently wardening my brother. At the time that I noticed, I encouraged him to declare his feelings to him. I don't know if it assisted in any way, but they did come to be together, and he makes no small secret of it.

The issue is, he seems to be under the impression that Omega will take him away from the ship even if he doesn't graduate. Admittedly, Rassilon may be reading far too much into what would otherwise be minor promises of dedication. Yet, he's thoroughly convinced that he needn't cooperate with anyone because he'll be taken.

You may at some point need to speak with Omega, and define lines of where romantic involvement and interference with Rassilon's recovery lie. Right now, he sees it as him being "broken" rather than being assisted.

[Stildyne breathes in through his nose, out through his mouth]

Well. It's not as if I had much chance at him listening anyway.

Two things: how certain are you that his lover hasn't made promises to that effect? I'm not equipped to stop a prison break on a Barge of this size and lack of security.

Second: How does the lover feel about the graduation issue? Agree with him about the breaking in? Or want to see him out?

You see, I don't see how it would work in any case. You shouldn't even have to act. The ship chases after inmates that escape and aren't randomly dismissed. It's wrecked in the process of doing so before.

Otherwise, I don't know. I've not spoken to him yet. I only discovered this bit of information from Rassilon earlier today. And for care of keeping myself from meddling further I decided to come to you.

When I do: if I bring up the issue, he'll know I got it from somewhere. You all right with your name in this conversation? Or ought I keep it in blanket terms of interference.

I would possibly keep it to an absolute must. Before you do, though, I'm not certain of all the events that transpired but do speak to Chancellor Narvin about what occured.

You see, Rassilon attacked him for declaring his love for a human. The repercussions of that have been- ...difficult.

He can't fault you if you're not there to talk about anything personal about Rassilon, but rather the interference. Which may very well be perceived.

If worse comes to worse, ask the Admiral flat out if he intends to allow him to leave.
