He knows that Claire was somehow involved in Richie's murder, but judging from the type of things Richie is capable of he's not sure of how. He's not really concerned about that, though. He's more preoccupied with helping find healthy outlets for Jesse's frustration...

As for the young woman I was referring to, there was quite a bit to it. But a lot of it had to do with me not wanting to be alone.
