[The Doctor is on the move and there are sounds in the background. But now that he's seen John Doe's post, he remembers the investigation into the power spikes. They happened before he came on board, but it took little time for him to figure out that the young man interning for Bruce Banner in the laboratory was somehow related, and that Edward Nygma, an investigator in the incident, was possibly covering it up.

He recalls when Nygma encountered a power spike of his own. And the agitation his TARDIS has been experiencing. This entire thing, all along, has been Rex's plan.]

REX! [Complete with demanding "r"roll] You must cease this immediately! I'll hold by my promise! What I told you is still true. But I need you to stand down before you cause yourself and everyone here more harm than you ever imagined!
