I do have permission to announce this on the Marquis's behalf.
The Marquis has several broken ribs, internal bruising, a concussion, and ligament damage that I don't know that we can properly heal without months of careful surgery, and perhaps in the process extensive physical therapy. Much of the technology here is helpful in aiding him but any recovery from this much damage will take a while. His advanced age doesn't help matters.
The damage he has suffered will take longer than a year to completely recover from, if he does not return home at some point. In his time, there will be no medical knowledge capable in assisting in rehabilitation.
[It takes all of his might /all of his might/ to make a practical statement without cursing the excessive use of violence. But he refrains.] He is obviously able to talk at the moment... and write at great length... so any questions about the incident specifically should be fielded through him. [So hard not to preach. So hard.
Luckily he cuts the feed before he can finish muttering something about human violence.]

I'm offended the man you're with was condemned for doing less, and yet he is now forced to watch futiley as his warden undergoes a monumental recovery from crimes worse than his own, enforced by a so called goodly man.
I'm angry. I'm angry at the hypocrisy and the judgement and the fact that love might be used as a justification for destruction. I'm angry enough to BURN.
[More quietly.] But... it is the Marquis's right to do as he prefers, and fight back with words. And it is the proper retaliation to use, judging from Sexby's own propensity for citing liberating documentation.

I don't understand what's going on, not entirely. What happened? I saw the Marquis in the infirmary, and I've heard Sexby's name, but... The reasoning makes no sense to me. Is this over something to do with Iago and Judas? [Totally clueless about any Masterworld anger, since lol, he was a crazy gas mask dude at the time.]

What I know is that Sexby felt the Marquis wronged his wife a year ago. That Angelica sees no wrong having been done and was willing in whatever it was. That he and Angelica share a child, and a right-minded woman would leave a husband that would disrespect her own judgement in that way.
You're probably aware of Judas declaring Sexby unworthy of his family. It was protested at the time, but after this? What Iago did with Crane for you wasn't right either. But in comparison this- why didn't he just [record it and play it to the Barge so we can all learn from his lessons. He won't say it. But he's thinking it. Fume.]
I've done my part to assist. That's in some way satisfying.

That's... appalling. Not that I have a problem when people defend me [As he absolutely LOVES IT when his friends attack his enemies], but to attack somebody because I'd made a decision with them? That just... reminds me of...

And yes, an unhealthy one. I'm sure there are circumstances, but my job is currently to see the Marquis's health rather than delve into them.
