[There's a strange man in Time Lord robes roaming the halls. He's been watching conversations and following along, taking in what's happening. But he doesn't want to intrude. He knows that for some reason that he shouldn't.

However, more than one psychic presence has coaxed him out of his room, away from the irritated TARDIS that's very familiar to him (she doesn't like this psychic aggression, she doesn't like it at all). And now he's trying to keep track of where the most damage is.]

Was he from our world? [Who won't take wine? Well, he can't do it so much anymore but he will now! He's not got to be in a stuffy office today or listen to seven hours of proposals.

He takes his glass and raises it for a sip.]

[Barriers, now isn't that interesting. It's almost childlike, the curiosity with which she prods at them, feeling along them for a chink.]

You may join me, [though she says it without moving her mouth. He's strong enough to keep her out, and she finds that fascinating.]

[To respond mentally, he'd have to drop his barriers. So he speaks.] Thank you. [He places his hands on the railing to stare over into the cosmos.]

Vulcan. [Again, it's unspoken; she's much more interested in studying him, and mushing at this barriers.]
