[The Doctor had been skulking through the hallways, grumpy. This place made no sense and refused to give him answers. He had no idea why he was here, what he was supposed to do, why he couldn't have his TARDIS...it was all ridiculous. His hands were thrust into his pockets as he turned the corner, exploring the Barge...only to see a strange man in Time Lord robes. The Doctor frowned, looking at him.]

Have we met? Or, as it's more likely on this blasted boat, will we meet?

[And he turns quickly in place. Something about this man feels familiar. Too familiar. But he'll not say as much, instead the Doctor gets a smile.]

No, probably not, my boy. But there's been a sizable psychic disturbance that's piqued my curiosity.

[The Doctor frowned, still looking at the man in front of him. He certainly was getting deja vu, though he had no idea why]

A psychic disturbance? Do tell.

There's a very upset TARDIS in the room that I was in. She seemed to indicate there was a very unstable psychic on board. A very aggressive one.

[He has to hike up his robes like skirts to head over to the Doctor.]

[Almost instantly the Doctor's mind is working in overtime. A TARDIS? The only people who he knew had a TARDIS on this boat were his future self and Omega (well, and potentially Narvin). He might be able to calm the TARDIS down and convince her to get him off this boat!]

Let me see this TARDIS. I've got experience with temperamental machines, I might be able to calm her down a bit.

[Oh! That's quite pretty. He gives her a pleasant smile, stopping with his ornate robes and inclining his head towards her. The most he can do, given that he has one of those enormous collars.]

Quite a gift you have there, madam.

Intriguing, intriguing my dear.

Though... I see a considerable amount of you. Such an ability is not to go unappreciated.

[He steps out onto the deck and- OH! Oh, that's the source of the psychic disturbance.

There's many of his kind still out in the Gallifreyan wilds, people who hold to the old ideals even after the revolution. That's what she reminds him of. A dangerous sort.

But one, he found, frequently in loathe with frustration. And one that could still be reasoned with in a pinch. He folds his hands in front of him and goes over to join her.]

[He throws up his psychic barriers as soon as the intrusion starts.]

I apologize madam, but it's really more polite to ask before you pry. We usually only share with those we're closest to. But do you mind if I enjoy the view with you for a bit?

[There's also a Rassilon in the halls. a Rassilon who's already met his future father-in-law and really didn't expect to see his advisor here, too. Especially not the suicidal one. ...Pazithi Gallifreya, Admiral, what is wrong with you today.] You!

[That advisor is taken aback by the sudden accusation (though he is pretty sure he is himself, he simply doesn't have a clue who this stranger is). Maybe he's not a complete stranger. There is something strange about him. Not so much like that curly headed fellow they met earlier, but in a different way.]

I was me last time I checked, but I haven't a clue who you are.

[Are those presidential robes? Is that-

Is that-

No! He just saw Rassilon?! When has this place put him? What regeneration is this?!]

[Oh, wonderful, now the fool can't even recognize him. Rassilon is not amused. At all.] I am your Lord President. Rassilon, if you have already forgotten. [What? No, he doesn't care about looking completely different. His advisor should know him despite that.]

[So different!]

I've not forgotten. I simply didn't expect you to have ah...

shaved.

[Flatly. He tucks his hands behind his back as he regards Rassilon.] You have just passed an amendment on non-interference. I should inform you so you won't disturb any timelines. [It's actually not too long before he does throw himself into the looms, for him.]

That was a billion years ago for me. And I've no interest in it any more. I've better things to do than worry about the timeline. [Rassilon looks at him. If he just passed that amendment, it shouldn't be too long before...]

[Peylix does a little exploring, curious about the strange foliage that grows. It doesn't seem to have any logic to it.]

[Because of the nice half-naked lady with the horns? She's very charming, he's found.

He doesn't recognize Peylix, but he gives him a quaint smile as he passes anyway. He can at least recognize him as another Gallifreyan.] Misplaced too, I see.

[He pops one of the seeds and it makes him giddy. He looks at the Other, a little confused and nods.]

You're... well, you either live outside of one of the domes or you're... It doesn't matter. Do you need any help? [He'll just come over in his frumpy Time Lord robes. Which are always in the way but he'll proudly wear them anyway.] How much have you seen already? I must say this ship is quite remarkable.

[He shakes it off, one mistletoe seed isn't going make much of a difference. He nods in agreement.] /The stars are beautiful./
