[He ignores the mongoose considering a voyage down his pullover.] Such as the fact I know I'm the most problematic, repugnant, and unpleasant of the lot of me and I'd been better off not even having gone through this regeneration.

You may be all those things you said, but I think when you've been here, you've been honest. That's valuable. Even if you don't tell people everything about you, you tell them what you know about what happens here. That isn't--what words did you use? Repugnant or problematic. The truth is sometimes unpleasant if one doesn't wish to hear it. That is hardly your fault.
