[He appears on the screen, holding a squirmy mongoose. That terrible jester marionette of his? Still sitting on the back of his couch. He's hesitant because he knows what's been going on, and there's some potentially terrible things that he could be admitting about himself right now. So he's going to try really hard not to!] Harper! This is actually your pet. I'm duty bound to return it to you... I have no idea what it's name is.

[And a pause. Okay! Let's go with-] I know how to play the spoons!

[Really?

That's it?

He sighs in relief.] I was worried for a moment that I was going to say something considerably worse! [He ignores the mongoose considering a voyage down his pullover.] Such as the fact I know I'm the most problematic, repugnant, and unpleasant of the lot of me and I'd been better off not even having gone through this regeneration.

[Wait.] Ignore that bit. [He makes a pissy huff and cuts the feed.]

But you are here again, and should your memory return, seldom do people have another chance. I'm not reprimanding you in any way... He's simply my friend and I dislike everything that he's been through. And I can't bring myself to give up on him yet. [He honestly doubts that he ever will.]

Hey, have you read my journal? If this place ever comes back to me then I'm not going to need to be told to give a crap about him because judging by the temper tantrum I have on page three? I'm already there.

And if my memory of this place doesn't return, then I don't need to hear about how good it could have been from you.

[Sorry Doctor, if he was less testy or he remembered you, he'd be nicer than this, but testy amnesiac doesn't appreciate your concern.]

[He won't push any harder. He just wants Harper to take him away from Eddie if he remembers. Friends with Eddie or not, he thinks Harper is much less harmful to Rex.]

I'll simply return your mongoose then. No harm intended.
